Over the past 10 years, we have designed a wide range of products—from magazines, paper goods and textiles, to logos, corporate communications, and packaging. We have designed for and branded local boutiques, dotcom startups, national retail franchises and international brands ranging from beauty to biotech.
The Delphine aesthetic is clean, timeless and decidedly elegant, with a focus on exceptional typography.
Graphic design informed by a background in communications and journalism.
Delphine is an award-winning boutique graphic design studio with a true passion for design. We've been known to shout out names of fonts seen on screen in movie theaters. We tweet. We blog. We buy things simply for the packaging, then deconstruct said packaging as research.
We apply a modern aesthetic to the centuries-old craft of letterpress printing as well as to the most modern digital printing technology to create designs that are striking and beautiful.
We also run a stationery business with hundreds of products in hundreds of stores all over the world, and an e-commerce custom invitation design site — We understand what it's like to be in business. We know the Javits Center inside and out. We understand budgets. As a business owner, the terms ROI and economy of scale are an important part of our vocabulary and help us design great things for our clients.
Our work has been published in 30+ magazines, more than a handful of books, and countless blogs.
Design-centric businesses come to Delphine for help. Clients include boutique retailers, service professionals, franchises, manufacturers, health care providers, biomedical technology companies, wedding industry professionals, e-commerce boutiques, and international retail chains.
Delphine designs logos, corporate identities, signage, national ad campaigns, packaging, hang tags, gift certificates, direct mail, etc. We've developed products and product lines for our clients. And, of course, We design all the modern collateral that a company needs to be plugged in (web banners, blog tile ads, eblasts, twitter pages, avatars, etc). We've even designed and branded events! We don't just love design — WE LIVE design.
Branding, Graphic Design, designing for letterpress
Erika has been designing since she was a child. The daughter of an artist and an industrial engineer, Erika grew up with a love of color, form and function. Her first “real” project was the playbill for her fifth grade class production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” As an adult, she designed invitations, announcements and holiday cards for her corporate design clients, which led to the development of the Delphine line of holiday cards, stationery, greeting cards and invitations.
Over the past decade, Erika has designed a wide range of products—from magazines, paper goods and textiles, to logos, corporate communications, and packaging. She's designed for and branded local boutiques, dotcom startups, national retail franchises and international brands ranging from beauty to biotech. The Delphine aesthetic is clean, timeless and decidedly elegant, with a focus on exceptional typography.
Erika has received multiple national design awards for her graphic design, invitation design, and stationery products. In 2011 she was named one of the “Top 10 Designers to Watch” by Stationery Trends along with Jonathan Adler and Vera Wang.
In addition to designing, Erika consults with designers, businesses and organizations about branding, marketing and product development. She has a passion for good design, no matter the medium.
