Béatrice is an artist. She has been drawing, painting, and designing since she was a girl back in Paris. She started her career as a commercial artist in New York City in the 60’s, where she was underpaid and literally chased around the office by cigar-chomping, scotch-swilling, sexually-harassing, chauvinistic bosses. She stood tall in her micro-mini skirt and truly helped pave the way for women in the design industry.
She appreciates all things modern, yet you will not find her on an iChat or receive an email attachment from her. Bé prefers more traditional methods: the pencil, ink, a sketchpad, t-square, and the eraser.
Be helps provide balance and perspective to the delphine creative process; not much leaves the studio that Bé has not influenced in some way or another.
